The William E. Doar, Jr. Educational Foundation is poised to be a major contractor in charter and independent school development, management and support. Founded in 2002, the Foundation currently maintains one laboratory school, The William E. Doar, Jr. Public Charter School for the Performing Arts, in Washington, DC. (www.wedjschool.us)

The WEDJ FDN specializes in the development and management of performing arts schools for children aged 3 through Grade 12. These schools are standards based in both academics and performing arts with a design based on current research and data on the impact of comprehensive professional level arts education on a student’s overall academic and occupational attainment.
